There are always new and exciting things going on at Cherokee! Returning campers are encouraged to try new classes, register for out of camp trips or take part in our Horseback Option! Whether you want to focus on adventure or just enjoy traditional camp, you are sure to have the time of your life.

For our oldest campers, your Cherokee journey doesn’t have to end! We encourage you to apply to be a CIT or counselor in training. You must apply early as we have limited space. Applications are accepted beginning in October through the end of November. To receive an application, please email Ian Estes.

During this three week program, you will gain the skills necessary to become a Cherokee counselor. Many alumni and current staff members agree that their CIT year is the most memorable!
